We offer ongoing professional training in Organisational TA. This training prepares you to apply TA principles and concepts in helping organisations to function effectively and harmoniously. The total duration of the course will depend on your initial experience and background, since it may be possible to credit prior learning towards the total hours requirement set by EATA. Trainees completing the course will normally take the international examination set by the European Association for Transactional Analysis (EATA) for accreditation as a Certified Transactional Analyst (CTA) in the field of Organisational.
The course covers aspects including
- analysing and changing the dynamics of how groups work together within organisations and within their wider contexts
- the role of individuals within the organisations within which the assigned role may be one aspect
- the dynamics of power and how it flows through an organisation to empower groups and individuals and understanding existing power structures to any needed enable
- understanding organisational culture using concepts such TA script theory to improve productively
We also offer an MSc in Organisational TA validated by Middlesex University. This programme is quality assured by Middlesex and you will receive a Middlesex award on successful completion. Work for the Masters’ degree is closely integrated with our existing framework of training and examination for accreditation as Certified Transactional Analyst (CTA). MSc students follow the training course already described for CTA, and the final written and oral examinations for the CTA are also the final examinations for the award of the MSc. Students on the Masters’ course will also have a number of written assignments formally assessed during the course itself.
